Where drag is a joke, but DEI is a threat — the hypocrisy of performative power.
Non-judgmental
I’m not here to judge anyone’s private choices. I abide by the sage advice of Dr. Leland Jensen: “People should stay out of other people’s dresser drawers.” I’m indifferent to how people express themselves — gender, sexuality, drag, or otherwise. What I do care about is human rights, civil rights, and the hypocrisy of power.
President and Vice President are Acquainted with Drag.
Let’s look at the record:
- JD Vance, now Vice President, once donned a blonde wig and skirt at a Yale party — a moment of playful drag captured in viral photos.
- Donald Trump, in a 2000 fundraiser skit, motorboated Rudy Giuliani — who was in full drag — to the delight of the crowd.
Timeline: Drag Moments vs. Anti-DEI Actions
Year | Event | Symbolic Theme |
2000 | Trump motorboats Giuliani in drag | Drag as spectacle; queerness played for laughs |
2007 | JD Vance appears in drag at Yale party | Gender play in elite spaces; youthful irony |
2024 | Trump re-elected; signals rollback of DEI and LGBTQ protections | Power consolidates; performance gives way to policy |
2025 | Trump signs executive orders dismantling DEI programs, redefining gender as binary | From drag to decree; symbolic reversal of inclusion |
2025 | Vance defends anti-DEI stance publicly, citing “cultural clarity” | From costume to crackdown; personal past vs. political present |

“I’ve known Jeff [Epstein] for fifteen years. Terrific guy.” -D. Trump 2002
Trump was also named in a recent lawsuit as an attendee at (at least) one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ infamous White Parties in Miami— events now under scrutiny for secretive “freak-off” rooms and disturbing allegations.
The picture that has been painted in this sex trade ring is that if you are super wealthy or influential, and you wanted sex with underage females, you call Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell, and if you wanted to diddle boys, you call Sean “Diddy” Combs. Both sex traffickers would secretly record video of you compromised and use the video footage to blackmail you into huge contributions of hush money and political favors.
These moments aren’t scandalous. They’re theatrical. They’re human. But they become troubling when the same figures turn around and weaponize policy against the very expressions they once performed. It is downright hypocrisy.

Even Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth may be on board with all of this. Rumor has it that he installed a makeup studio in the Pentagon. With very little research, I was able to verify this claim, and that it is not a rumor.
Hegseths Makeup Studio in the Pentagon
The Makeup Studio is real:
- According to CBS News and Military Times, Hegseth directed renovations to a green room adjacent to the Pentagon press briefing area.
- The upgrades included:
- A director’s chair
- A large mirror with makeup lighting
- A countertop built by Pentagon facilities staff

Public Reaction:
- Hegseth denied “ordering” a makeup studio, calling the story “totally fake” in a post on X. (This denial makes me suspicious that he is harboring some cross-dresser fantasies.)
- However, Pentagon officials confirmed the changes were made and that Hegseth uses the space to prepare for media appearances — including applying his own makeup.
The suggestion reportedly came from Tami Radabaugh, a former Fox News producer and current aide to Hegseth. As of the writing of this post, the room is now available to senior leaders and VIPs before press engagements. and of course, to Petricia as well.
The question arises as to why it is okay for men to use makeup for business, but it is cancelled for pleasure. Again, it looks hypocritical.
What Moses and Jesus Said:
“Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD” — Leviticus 19:18 (KJV)
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”” — Mark 12:31 (KJV)
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” — Matthew 5:43–44 (KJV)
“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” — Matthew 7:1–2 (KJV)
“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” — John 7:24 (KJV)
What ‘Abdu’l-Baha Said:
“Bahá’u’lláh has clearly said in His Tablets that if you have an enemy, consider him not as an enemy. Do not simply be long-suffering; nay, rather, love him. Your treatment of him should be that which is becoming to lovers. Do not even say that he is your enemy. Do not see any enemies. Though he be your murderer, see no enemy. Look upon him with the eye of friendship.”
— The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 267
My Closing Thoughts
The Bible doesn’t say “Love your neighbor, unless they wear a wig.”
It says: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
And then it goes further: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
And ‘Abdu’l-Bahá says: “Do not see any enemies… look upon him with the eye of friendship.”
I’m not here to condemn. I’m here to expose contradiction.
If drag is safe for the stage, why is it banned in the law?
If gender play is fine for laughs, why is it punished in policy?
This isn’t about identity. It’s about integrity. See through the illusion.
Judge not, lest ye be judged. If you must judge, judge wisely; do so with righteous judgment — not selective scorn.
